Well I apologize for not updating this site more! I'm going to start doing a much better job. I guess I haven't wrote as much because I haven't been running outside very frequently. The weather was cold in Charlotte up until about a week ago and then I got sick for about a week. I had planned on running another half marathon at the Charlotte Racefest, but now i've decided to run the 10k instead. I was excited to run the half marathon because the weather will be nice in April and it would push me to train harder, but i'm also happy to run the 10k again.
The Racefest 10k was my very first race and really a milestone for my running and my weight loss, so it will be nice to run that same one again. I also want to try to do well. Last year I got 7th place in my age division, so with me having more running experience this year, i'm hoping to do much better (hopefully). The race is in two weeks, so I don't have a ton of time to get in top shape. I've been running, but just not as much as I would like. I guess we will see. I'll keep you guys posted on my progress.
