Well week one of my training is complete. Only 11 more to go... :( This week was bascially the same as most weeks that I run on a regular basis, so it didn't really feel like training. The main difference is that I had to stick to the schedule. The nights this week that I wanted to do something after work, I had to get up and run before work. I also had a wedding on Saturday, so I had to get up and do my three mile Saturday run, in the morning before we left for the wedding. Saturdays are so important to my schedule, so I really have to try to figure out how to make sure I can get my runs in, which won't always be easy......
This week starts cheerleading practice for me at Queens University, so training is going to get even harder. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I will leave work and then go to coach at practice from 6:30-8:30. I'm going to have to start doing a lot of my runs in the morning, which most of you know that i'm not a morning person......
Next Saturday will be four miles. Which will be taking it up a notch for me. I consistenly run 2 or 3 miles atleast four days a week, so i'm use to that, four will be more of a challenge, which i'm looking forward to. Don't forget to become a follower of the blog and you will get email alerts when I post.
Good work Jess on your first week. I know it's going to start getting a little more difficult, but before you know it, you'll be crossing that finish line. Keep up the hard work.
