Officially training for my second half marathon!
I've decided to train for my second half marathon which will be November 6th. I'm running the Dowd Ymca half marathon. I'm so excited to do another one, as I have been anxiously awaiting to hear if I could do this one or not. I wanted to do this one last year, but my company trip typically falls within this time. This weekend i'll run 5 miles and go up one each week, like my training was before. I have a couple of friends that are planning to run it as well, so that makes it even more exciting! I think the November time will be easier, because it won't be so cold! It also won't be as cold training Sept-Nov. The hardest part of my training last time was the weather! I'll keep everyone posted on how each of my long runs turn out and my thoughts throughout the training. I know i'm going to be much more prepared this time around and i'm excited to see how different my 2nd go around may be different than the 1st. Yay!
